FINALS 

Simon Heilpern prevailed 5-4,5-4 in his first VETS Championships singles win over David Johnston. It was a closely fought match and went to the wire in each of the two sets. Meanwhile, on court 2 a similar battle was being played out between Richard Crawford and partner Sarah Bayliss against steady Eddy partnership Roger Standing and Sue Parsons. Richard & Sarah finally came through to take home the silver with a 5-3,5-3 win.
