WSGC Golf & Tennis Invitation Day 2026
This year's WSGC Golf & Tennis Invitation Day will take place on Sunday, 13 September, with a 2:00pm first tee time.
The aim of the day is to give tennis members the opportunity to experience the beautiful West Surrey Golf Course while playing alongside fellow tennis members and West Surrey golf members in a fun, social competition.
Competition Format: This year's event will be played as St Andrews Greensomes.
How it works:
- Both players tee off on every hole.
- The pair then choose which drive to play.
- Before the round begins, the team decides which player will play the second shot on all odd-numbered holes and which player will play the second shot on all even-numbered holes.
- This remains the same throughout the round, regardless of whose drive is selected.
- From the second shot onwards, the players alternate shots until the ball is holed.
Prizes: There will be prizes for the top two pairs with the highest Stableford scores.
There will also be a number of fun on-course competitions:
- Longest Drive
- Straightest Drive
- Nearest the Pin
- Most Birdies – over the entire round
- Men: Yellow tees
- Ladies: Red tees
Food: Sandwiches and chips will be served after your round.
Eligibility: The event is open to tennis members who have either:
- A current golf handicap;
- A previous or expired golf handicap; or
- The ability to play to a maximum handicap of 28 (men) or 36 (ladies).
Entry Fee: £15 per person, which includes a contribution towards the prizes and post-round food. How to make payment will be emailed once the entry form has been completed.
Booking: Places are limited to 20 players and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the event is full, a reserve list will be operated.
