Junior Coaching
The overall aim of the Junior Coaching Programme is to provide enjoyment and encouragement for beginners, and development and challenge for the more advanced.
The programme for Juniors will include term time and holiday courses for different age groups.
Court and equipment
Younger children will use red, orange or green balls in accordance with LTA recommendations, with the youngest using a smaller court and a lower net.
Group sizes
Term time groups will normally be a maximum of 4 children so that they participate fully and get individual attention.
Tournaments
There will be an annual Junior Tournament, with finals running alongside the adult club finals in the summer.
